Since the post war period, in 1930, Altero Bianchi, art master with a degree from Florence Institute of Art, was teaching painting techniques, usually to foreign students who came to Florence attracted by its cultural and artistic richness His son Riccardo continued this work going as far as teaching at the University of Colorado, both in its campus in Florence and in the main headquarters in Denver. At present in our current workshop we offer art courses and professional training, which can be tailored on the basis of the customer preferences and interests. |

It can follow a logic and formal academic development that starts with drawing techniques and study of light and shapes. However it can be guided as an informal painting course starting with drawing techniques to give a wide range of experience such as colour and finishing. This second option is addressed to non-professionals who want to study painting as a hobby learning painting, base preparation, “doratura a guazzo” (gliding techniques), aging techniques and applying colour in modern paintings. We also offer full day or half day demonstrations, where the customer can observe various artistic activities in our workshop.
